Lesson Aleria

Ms. Colombani and Mufraggi, professors at the College of Letters Baléone, wanted to establish an educational project around the ancient site of Aleria. The interest is both the site architecture that the material discovered during archaeological excavations.

In this scientific framework, that collaboration with archaeologists from the Regional Laboratory of Archaeology was established.
The goal is to cross the teaching approaches. On the one hand, the program of the school year (French and Latin) and the other a more didactic approach (intervention LRA).
45 students 3rd to have been aware of this approach in the context of hours of teaching Latin. In this way, college students have discovered a piece of their history through an innovative educational approach. Teachers are fully mobilized for the design and monitoring of the project. An archaeologist LRA Helena Paolini-Saez, oversaw this educational project involving the theoretical framework, crafts and visiting the site Aleria through a "treasure hunt". These three complementary approach to integrate as easily as possible vocabulary and chronology.
