school activities in Vico



During the solar year 2009 / 2010, 4 classes of 6th and 5th in the College of Vico participated in an educational project implemented by the Regional Laboratory of Archaeology on sites Sant'Appianu (Sagone common Vico) and castellu of Cinarca (common Casaglione).
This project was directed by Helen Paolini-Saez, Marie-Andrée and Pierre Gardella Committee, accompanied by Teachers Jean-Noel and Frances Fragaglia Leca and by the Senior Advisor Education Magali Perrimond.
Students participated in guided tours of the Roman site and the Cathedral and the San'Appianu castellu of Cinarca, founded by legendary Hugo Colonna, a 9th century. And they then worked on in class teaching booklets produced by the LRA, after watching two slideshow on the history and archaeological remains visited. Activities are more playful closed the initiation by the manipulation of clay for making models of the paleo-Christian baptistery and Sagone castellu of Cinarca.
