*****

Flowers

Under the gold dust that falls from the linden
lucid air flames and a canopy
Transparent where the soft light and feline
Rode around the roses, lilies and gladioli.

Flowers! Fiery dreams of the Earth! Arms
Whose azure triumph marked turf,
Your turn to insult any luxuries grasslands
And fur are the feet of our homes.

Souls of Fire! Essences of dangerous spirits!
Why can not I, defeated by your beasts powers
In the quiet zeal of a high noon vermeil

the garden reflecting the light which flows
And my shroud of silk weaving and sun
Dying in the bright caress roses!
